September 17, 2019 Westbound Lane Closure Mile Marker 10.6 to 9.6
The right lane of Westbound SR 265 from Mile Marker 10.6 to 9.6 will be closed for crews to inspect the pavement through the area starting at 11:00 am and ending at 3:00 pm. Exit 10 Westbound will remain open from the single open lane of traffic. All exits and on-ramps will remain open. Motorists are reminded to slow down in work zones to give workers and other drivers plenty of room for safety.
October 9, 2019 Bridge Maintenance on the Lewis and Clark
Crews will be cleaning bridge joints on the Lewis and Clark Bridge between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm.. The work will involve a moving operation in both directions and on both sides of the road, one lane at a time. All work will take place between Mile Markers 37.8 and 38.8 on KY 841. Motorists are reminded to move over and slow down over for maintenance vehicles.
October 11, 2019 Sweeping Operations
Roadway sweeping operations will begin at 11:00 am on Thursday and conclude by 3:00 pm. Roadway sweeping will be a moving operation to sweep shoulders on both sides of the road in both directions. Bridge sweeping operations will begin at 7:00 pm on Thursday and conclude by 6:00 am on Friday. Bridge sweeping will be a moving operation on both sides of the road in both directions to remove dirt and debris. All work will be performed between Mile Marker 8.78 on SR 265 and Mile Marker 37.8 on KY 841. Motorists are reminded to give workers and equipment plenty of room for safety and to slow down in work zones.
2019 Vegetation Management continues
WVB has begun mowing, spraying and weed eating operations along SR 265 in Indiana and KY 841 in Kentucky. Crews may be present anytime performing vegetation management activities between 6:00 am and 6:00 pm daily. Please use caution and give plenty of room for equipment and workers performing this work.
August 6, 2019 Erosion repair
WVB will close the right shoulder of Eastbound SR 265 at MM 11.1 between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm to repair erosion on the shoulder. Please slow down and give workers and their equipment plenty of room to work safely.
