May 7-9, 2021, Bridge Maintenance on Port Road

May 7, 2021 - May 8, 2021

Crews will be performing maintenance requiring a complete road closure on Friday May 7th beginning at 7:00 pm on Port Road. The closure will be at the roundabout on the North end of Port Road. Northbound Port Road traffic will exit to SR 265 Eastbound to Old Salem Road and then to Westbound SR 265. Traffic from SR 265 Westbound will exit at Exit 11 to SR 62 and back to Port Road. The closure will be in place until approximately 8:00 am on Saturday May 8th. Please obey all traffic signs and slow down for safety sake.




May 7 – 9, 2021, Bridge Maintenance SR 265

May 7, 2021 - May 9, 2021

Crews will be performing overnight closures in two locations on SR 265 beginning at 7:00 pm on Friday May 7th. Westbound Friday night the right lane will be closed from Mile Marker 9.6 to Mile Marker 9.3. Saturday morning at around 9:00 am the closure will be switched to a left lane closure until Sunday at approximately 9:00 am, then all lanes will be open.

On Friday night Eastbound, the left lane will be closed from Mile Marker 11.7 to Mile Marker 12. Saturday morning at around 10:00 the closure will be switched to a right lane closure until Sunday morning around 11:00 am, then all lanes will be open. The shared use path will be closed at this location from around Midnight Saturday night until around 8:00 am Sunday morning.




May 11, 2021, Light pole repair

May 11, 2021 - May 11, 2021

Crews will be replacing a light pole, that was knocked down, at Mile Marker 37.9 on KY 841 Westbound on Tuesday May 11th from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. Motorists should expect a right lane closure for crews to safely make this repair. Please move over and slow down for safety sake when you encounter work zones.




May 13, 2021 Bridge Cleaning

May 13, 2021 - May 13, 2021

Crews will be cleaning expansion joints and drains on the Lewis and Clark bridge and the Kentucky Approach bridge on May 13th, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. Work will be performed from the shoulders of the bridge on both sides of the road and in both directions. Motorists are reminded to slow down and move over in work zones, for your safety and the safety of the workers.




May 14, 2021, Shoulder Sweeping

May 14, 2021 - May 14, 2021

On May 14th, crews will be sweeping the roadway from Mile Marker 8.78 on SR 265 to Mile Marker 37.8 on KY 841 between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm. Work will take place on both sides of the road and in both directions. Motorists are reminded to slow down and move over for maintenance vehicles, for your safety and the safety of the workers.




May 15, 2021, Bridge Sweeping

May 15, 2021 - May 15, 2021

Bridge sweeping operations will begin at 7:00 am on Saturday the 15th of May and conclude by 7:00 pm. Bridge sweeping will be a moving operation on both sides of the road in both directions to remove dirt and debris. All work will be performed between Mile Marker 8.78 on SR 265 and Mile Marker 37.8 on KY 841. Motorists are reminded to give workers and equipment plenty of room for safety and to slow down for maintenance vehicles and flashing lights.




May 15th & 16th, 2021, Bridge Maintenance

May 15, 2021 - May 16, 2021

Crews will be closing the right lane and right shoulder of SR 265 in both directions on the 15th and 16th  of May, between 7:00 am and 9:00 pm to perform bridge maintenance and inspections between mile marker 8.78 and mile marker 12.2. Motorists are reminded to slowdown and move over for work zones for the safety of everyone.




May 17th and 18th, Bridge Maintenance

May 17, 2021 - May 18, 2021

Crews will be closing the right lane and right shoulder of SR 265 in both directions on the 17th and 18th  of May, between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm to perform bridge maintenance and inspections between mile marker 8.78 and mile marker 12.2. Motorists are reminded to slowdown and move over for work zones for the safety of everyone.




April to November, 2021, Vegetation Management

April 6, 2021 - November 1, 2021

Seasonal vegetation management will take place on the East End Crossing from April to November. Crews will be out mowing, weed eating, seeding, tree trimming and treating weeds. Motorists can expect crews on the shoulders of the road, in close proximity to moving traffic and in the island areas of the roundabouts on SR 62. Please use caution and give our workers plenty of room for safety.
